More than 20 years ago, Jackie opened the doors to Fond Memories Photography in order to expose her vision and share her skill. Since its inception, Jackie has been acknowledged with a Meyer Rivkin Portrait-of-the-Year Award, two Kodak Gallery Awards, and two Fujifilm Masterpiece Awards for Photographic Excellence. Her image, “Deserted” was featured in the Professional Photographers of America Screensaver Collection for the United States  Congress. The Senate of Maryland honored Jackie with two resolutions in recognition of her Photographer of the Year honors. On the Soul Train Cruise in the Caribbean, her vision has enhanced the presence of Atlantic Starr, Peabo Bryson, Chaka Khan, The Dramatics, Sheila E, Howard Hewett, Thelma Houston, Stephanie Mills, Melba Moore, The O’Jays, Smokey Robinson, Nile Rogers (featuring Chic), Midnight Star, Sounds of Blackness, The Whispers, Deniece Williams, and other leading performers.

With much acclaim, she became the first African-American woman to grace the stage and receive the Maryland State Portrait Photographer-of-the-Year Award.

Jackie became the second African-American woman to received a double degree from the Professional Photographers of America.

The gifts bestowed upon Jackie continues to be shared with others as she crossed the heights and covered the widths of the United States. From being honored by the photographers of Louisiana (New Orleans) with their 2005 Humanitarian Award (for her support to colleagues who endured Hurricane Katrina) to leading seminars and encouraging future photographers at the Duke Ellington School for Performing Arts (Washington, D.C.); from educating au pairs around the nation’s capital about the art of photography through the the Cross Creek Weekend Program to becoming the recipient of three Excellence Awards in the Wedding and Portrait International Photographers Competition (Las Vegas), Jackie’s swift action and unforgettable portraits speak stronger than any accolade or honor.

Jackie’s clever and creative outlook is recognized in the work she’s done for Angela Alsobrooks (First elected Female to serve as Prince George’s County Executive), Asia (Magic 102.3) Arlene Holt Baker (Retired Executive Vice President, American Federation of Labor-Congress of Industrial Organizations, AFL-CIO), Bill Bellamy (Comedian), Riddick Bow (Professional Boxer), Crayola Brown (A. Philip Randolph Institute/AFL-CIO), Chuck Brown (Godfather of Go-Go), Jamie Foster Brown (CEO, Sister to Sister Magazine), Wanda Durant (Inspirational Speaker, Mother of Kevin), Lamont Easter (“House of Cards”), Alicia Garza (Co-founder, Black Lives Matter), Linda Golden (Executive Vice President, Lockheed Martin), J.J.
