With a career spanning over thirty years, Jackie has established herself as a trailblazer and respected leader within the photography industry. Her infectious charisma fosters a unique connection with each of her subjects, capturing their essence with unparalleled artistry and precision.
 

Renowned for her ability to capture unforgettable moments, Jackie has had the privilege of working with esteemed figures across various sectors, including government, military, entertainment, and corporate realms. Among her notable projects, she immortalized beloved figures like Former United States Representative of Maryland, Elijah Cummings, with iconic portraits and entrusted her lens to document his state funeral and celebration of life. Her clientele boasts a roster of high-profile public service leaders, including Retired United States Army Lieutenant General and the 44th Surgeon General of the United States Army Medical Command, Dr. Nadia West, Delegate Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks, and United States House of Representatives Stacey Plaskett of the Virgin Islands. Notably, her published work from the Black Worker Initiative entitled "And Still I Rise: Black Women Labor Leaders" was prominently showcased during one of Former President Barack Obama’s addresses to an audience of labor union workers, showcasing her profound impact and influence.

She holds the distinction of being the first African-American woman to receive the Maryland State Portrait Photographer-of-the-Year Award and the second African-American woman to attain a double degree from the Professional Photographers of America in 2007. Her excellence has been recognized with multiple awards in the Wedding and Portrait International Photographers Competition, solidifying her status as a respected authority and source of inspiration for aspiring photographers worldwide.

Beyond her artistic endeavors, Jackie is a dedicated philanthropist, dedicating over two decades to humanitarian efforts. She founded the Greater Washington Networking Professionals Organization, which has raised nearly $50,000 in direct financial and tangible donations, showcasing her commitment to making a positive impact in her community and beyond. Jackie’s unwavering dedication to her craft and contributions to society have been honored with numerous prestigious awards, including the Photographers of Louisiana's 2005 Humanitarian Award, the Meyer Rivkin Portrait-of-the-Year Award, two Kodak Gallery Awards, and two Fujifilm Masterpiece Awards for Photographic Excellence. Her work has been showcased in esteemed collections and recognized by institutions such as the United States Congress and the Senate of Maryland.
